Howdy! I’m Joe! By day, I’m an IT Manager. By Night, I hope to become an expert at Christmas Light Displays.
I have been decorating with lights since I was about 10 years old. While my displays have mostly been contained to bushes or very simple props, I have always dreamed of having a huge Christmas Display.
Three years ago, when I purchased my first home, I’ve been slowly building upon my display. While most of it still consists of lighting bushes, I have added a couple of blow molds, animated deer and snowman, and a couple of other items. The next big leap will be animating my display further with an actual synchronized light show. 2012 will be the year that I tackle this, and I’m looking very forward to it.
Follow this blog to keep up with my progress. Share in my triumphs, and laugh at my mistakes. It will definitely be a learning experience, but one that I’m very excited to undertake.
